What we will and won't do
- We only suggest things we would recommend to a friend who asked. If we wouldn't, it isn't listed.
- The tools and printables on this site are free and always will be. Nothing is hidden behind a purchase, and no calculator will ever tell you that you need to buy something to get an answer.
- Recommendations sit apart from the tools themselves, clearly marked, so you can ignore them entirely.
- We won't fill a page with links for the sake of it. Most of our suggestions are inexpensive basics rather than expensive gadgets.
Why we do it at all
Running a website costs money — the domain, the hosting, the time spent building and checking each tool. Affiliate commissions cover that, which means the tools can stay free for everybody, with no accounts, no subscriptions and no advertisements plastered over your screen while you're trying to count stitches.
